OPERS closed on Thanksgiving, day after

As a reminder to our members and retirees, the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving.

The OPERS offices are open on Wednesday, but our lobby and phone lines will close at 2:30 p.m. that day.

We’ll post our hours for Christmas and New Year’s Day as those holidays approach. With New Year’s Day falling on a Friday, the January 2016 benefit payment will be made on Jan. 4.

    Please direct this to where ever it should go.
    I completed my sign up with One Exchange the middle of October. I have never received my HRH Welcome Kit that probably has the instructions to ally my confusion. I have received the cards for my medical and my Rx, but I do not understand the HRH Reimbursement process.
    since I paid up front, I know I can be reimbursed this month for my premium. How do I do that? I know there are forms involved …. where are they? I have never had to fill out any kind of medical forms and I am totally ignorant of what is required and to whom I send the request.
    Please help me. Thank YOu.

      We’re sorry you have had a delay in receiving the information you were seeking. You can find the entirety of the HRA Welcome Packet under HRA Information on the OneExchange/OPERS portal. Or call OneExchange at 844-287-9945 to request a new packet.

    i wish to decline the current plan for which i have applied i have now enrolled in United Healthcare insurance because of the cost being so much less that is the company to whom i will be relying on for my healthcare Than k you so much i will be taking also the prescription coverage through United Healthcare also Have a great day

      If you are asking us to cancel insurance that you selected, you can’t do that through the blog. You have to call us at 800-222-7377 or call OneExchange at 844-287-9945.

    I have not receive my monthly benefit for January, 2016. When will it come?
    Also I’m not sure if I have a OPERS ACCOUNT number and password. Please let me know if I do.

      The monthly benefit was scheduled to be issued Jan. 4. We cannot comment on account numbers over the blog. Please call us at 800-222-7377 for help with that issue.
