When do we get our Retirement for January 2018 and when will it be deposited?
Thank You!
Mr. Colasurd,
The next pension payment will be issued on Jan. 2. Payments are issued on the first business day of the month. If that day falls on a weekend or holiday, payments will be issued on the last business day of the previous month. The exception is January when, for tax purposes, the payment must be issued on the first business day of the month.
Julie, OPERS
Thanks for holding up our payment for January 2018. I DON’T UNDERSTAND WHY WE COULDN’T HAVE RECEIVED IT ON THE FRIDAY BEFORE NEW YEARS.AS BOTH HOLIDAYS OCCUR IN DECEMBER THE MONEY DOSENT GO THAT FAR.JUST SAYING.
Mr. Harper,
Pension payments are issued on the first business day of the month. If that day falls on a weekend or holiday, payments will be issued on the last business day of the previous month. The exception is January when, for tax purposes, the payment must be issued on the first business day of the month, which this year was Jan. 2.
