OPERS posts schedule for holidays
As a reminder to our members and retirees, the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System will be observing the following schedule around the holidays:
- We will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
- Our downtown Columbus offices and call center will close at 2:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve in advance of the holidays.
- We will be open for business as usual on the day after Christmas and the day after New Year’s.

When will I receive my benefits check for January?

Hello,
Why the decrease in my check? I looked at my Benefit Change Notice Statement Dated
September 30 – 2014 and it states my Net Benefit was increased but has been decreased. What caused my decrease?

There are several reasons that check amounts change from one year to the next. But we can’t discuss individual checks on our blog. Please call usat 800-222-7377, and one of our Member Services representatives can help you.

Was there a delay on pension fund for retirees. I just checked my account and I don’t have the automatic deposit.

I cannot attend the January 14 seminar in Perrysburg because of illness Will I receive the information that I will miss at the seminar about the Medicare Connector

This information is available through our webinars. You can sign up for one by clicking on this link. Also, we will be sending out Connector kits to all our eligible participants by the end of this month. The kits will have a lot of information about the Connector.
