OPERS, OneExchange partner to explain Connector reimbursement

April 10, 2017 — What is an HRA, how does it work and how do I submit a claim?

These are common questions Medicare-eligible retirees have when getting to know their Health Reimbursement Arrangement.

In partnership with OneExchange, a four-part video series was developed to address frequently asked questions, like these, in the following ways:

    my hra deposit goes away next year. if any is left from this year can I still use it?

      Thank you for your question. There is not a timeframe for when one may submit expenses, meaning that you may still submit for reimbursement if funds remain in your account in 2018. If you have further questions, please submit a question to OPERS through your secure online account, or give us a call at 1-800-222-7377.
